To keep this wordplay train going, another fave of mine:

A_S_S_U_A_G_E

S_A_U_S_A_G_E

If you really like this, you should play TextTwist on Yahoo Games. Especially, since you're always so bored and all!

Hahaha, my spelling has definately degraded in my old age. And I was sober. Well, I only brought up the spelling because you brought up anagrams. I propose as the only fair way this could be settled, we have an intoxicated spelling bee. Of Yiddish slang.

And that was Tara everyone, always seeking the greater truth here by expanding my ideas far far far beyond their original intentions.

I think you were thinking of anagrams in general. But you pointed out a special case where only two letters are swapped. And because I'm bored as well I'll share with you that I was always fascinated, enchanted if you will, by the words NUCLEAR and UNCLEAR and how different the second half is pronounced if the letters in the first half are swapped.

You're example also is a special case because you mispelled both words. A 48 hour hangover will do that to you.

Think first, then blog.

Pretend that you are a girl...then read that 'morsel'...you sick, sick man, I'm appauld by your brevity.

TANGENT: What is it called when two words share the same letters but mean two different things?

Sorry, I'm nursing a hangover that has lasted 48 hours and random thoughts are beginning to flood my mind.
